NewfoundlandProvincialNominee Program (NLPNP)
The Newfoundland Provincial Nominee Program (NLNP) offers you a way to immigrate to Canada. Through the NLPNP, Newfoundland:

• lnvites residency applications from non-Canadians who want to make Newfoundland their home; and

Nominates successful applicants to the federal government, so they can gain permanent residency in Canada
The NLPNP offers three streams for skilled and semi-skilled workers who want to become a permanent resident of Newfoundland. The three streams are : Skilled Worker, Express Entry Skilled Worker and International Graduate.

NLPNP Express Entry Stream
To be eligible for this stream an applicant must:

• Have a valid express entry profile
  E2J Receive a permanent full-time offer of employment from an employer in Newfoundland
• Obtain a minimum of 67 points out of 1 oo on the NLPNP selection factor grid
• Have an IRCC Work Permit with at least 4 months remaining at time of application, or be entitled to apply for one
• Possess a valid Educational Credential Assessment CECA) showing a level of education matching the level of education declared
  in their express entry profile
• Be able to provide language test results from a designated testing agency that match the language level declared in the Express
  Entry profile

NLPNP Skilled Worker Stream
To be eligible for this stream an applicant must:

• Receive a permanent full-time offer of employment from an eligible employer in Newfoundland
• Obtain a minimum of 67 points out of 100 on the NLPNP selection factor grid
• Have an IRCC work Permit with at least 4 months remaining at time of application, or be entitled to apply for one
• Educational credential Assessment CECA) showing a level of education matching the level of education declared in their expPossess ress a vaentry lid profile
• Be 21 to 59 years old
• English or French language capability to perform the employment duties. Occupations classified in NOC Code C or D must provide valid test results demonstrating CLB 4 level English or French ability.

NLPNP International Graduate Stream

• Completed at least half of your studies in Canada.
• Graduated from an eligible publicly funded Canadian college or university
• Completed a minimum of a two-year diploma or degree program, while studying on a full-time basis.
• Receive a permanent full-time offer of employment from an employer in Newfoundland.
• Be 21 to 59 years old
• Qualifications, training, skills and/or accreditation required for the job
• Have a post-graduate work permit with a duration of at least six months remaining prior to expiry date
• English or French language capability to perform the employment duties. Occupations classified in NOC code C or D must provide valid test result demonstrating CLB4 level English or French ability.
• If you completed your studies at a recognized post secondary institute outside of Newfoundland and Labrador, your job or job offer must be related to your field of study. You also may be required to work for a minimum of 1 year prior to submission of your PNP application.

NLPNP Application Processing Times and Fees
Upon receipt of a completed application for Skilled Worker, the department will notify the applicant of a decision within 25 Business Days.
The NLPNP charges an application fee of $250 for the Express Entry stream and Skilled Worker stream. There is no fee to apply for the International Graduate stream.

Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Fees and Processing Times

• Main Applicant-Processing fee $825 and right of permanent residence fee $500
• Spouse or Partner-Processing fee $820 and right
• Each Dependent Child- Processing Fee of $225

The processing time for an applicant with an Express Entry profile and who has applied to a provincial Express Entry stream is 6 months. The processing time for all other applicants is approximately 18 months.

Proof of Funds
You must show that you have sufficient funds to successfully establish yourself and your family in Canada and to pay your immigration costs and travel expenses (if applicable) at the time of your application for permanent residency to IRCC (as well as at Express Entry profile submission stage).The amount of money you need to s determined by the size of your family, as shown below.

The funds must be in your name or in the name of your accompanying spouse. These funds must be unencumbered by debts or obligations transferable and available to you. Funds must be liquid /i.e. not real estate) and cannot be borrowed. You normally do not have to show that you have these funds if

• You have a valid job offer (offer of arranged employment) in AND
• You are currently working or authorized to work in Canada
